Luigi Massoni

Luigi Massoni (1891-1979) was not only an Architect, designer and editor, he was also a successful designer for the well known Alessi company. Between 1957 and 1960 he collaborated with the architect Carlo di Carli and founded `Il Mobile Italiano`. In 1959 he founded `Mobilia` a centre for the promotion of Italian design bringing together a group of furniture designers. He also designed for Boffi Cucine and for Guzzini and was instrumental in the way furniture production and design developed during this period in Italy.
